Updates on My Journey as a Dietitian + Why I Left Social Media

Hello everyone – I wanted to share some life updates!

As you know, I have taken a full-time role at a University. I am the Director of the free [grant funded] nutrition clinic that serves the university as well as the surrounding community. We are providing nutrition counseling for FREE to help students, athletes, faculty/staff feel their best and to support the underserved in our community.

A person with long blonde hair is smiling at the camera while wearing a maroon sweatshirt that says 'Dietitian.' In the background, there are shelves and a green wall.

I have been having a great time getting the clinic ready to open.

What about Thrive Performance and Nutrition LLC?

I’m still here and open – just with reduced availability. The university-based nutrition clinic is my full-time job now, but I am still here supporting my current private practice clients while also taking on new clients as able. If you are dealing with digestive symptoms, have EDS or POTS, please still reach out.

“What happened to your social media?

I have decided to take a step back from content creation on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and writing on Substack. The social media world is quite frankly – wild and loud. I have chosen to take a moment to focus on the patients in front of me, my family and the choices I will be making about building upon my career as a dietitian (more on this another time). I am working on some very exciting projects and I want to be prudent with my time.

When will I be back? Honestly, I don’t know if I will. For now, I am happy being away.
