This review is going to be structured a little differently than previous posts….
Let me first start off by saying that I don’t go to this place nearly as often as I would like. There’s literally nothing else in Raleigh that comes close to the vibe that you get when walking into Raleigh Raw. It’s earthy. It’s organic. It’s chic. I often associate certain things with colors. The one color that sums up the previous adjectives that I just listed concerning Raleigh Raw is the color black. The color black also happens to be my favorite color (+ pink).
Some days, you’ll walk in and there’s a DJ just doin’ his thing. Right at the bar area. I want to say that’s usually on the weekends – maybe Saturday?
They even have kombucha on tap, which if you have read any of my previous posts – I’m obsessed with. There are SOOO many good things about kombucha!
Raleigh Raw is the place where I had my first poke bowl. I can blame them for THAT addiction 😉
Oh and if you have a gluten allergy, soy allergy or dairy allergy – you have definitely come to the right place. It’s a gluten, dairy and soy-free premises. (SO RAD!)

This past Sunday, I went to Raleigh Raw for the first time in forever. One thing I love is that they make their own almond mylk in house and it’s seriously the creamiest almond mylk I’ve ever had. I really just had a craving for it.
Matcha is fabulous for when you want that slight caffeine boost that won’t necessarily knock you on your ass. It’s also loaded with antioxidants that are all around a great addition to getting your caffeine fix.

A couple of years ago, when Raleigh Raw was fairly new, I remember meeting the owners. They made a point to come out to the front of the house and meeting everyone who came into their shop. I just love that. They gave me the low-down on the menu, what options were good for the type of craving I was having and what set Raleigh Raw apart from the other coffee shops in Raleigh. I could really tell that they had a passion for health and wellness, which obviously resonated with me and does to this day. Raleigh needs more places like this and people like Sherif and Leslie. It really speaks volumes when the owners make a point to get to know their customers and who their customers are.
I follow Raleigh Raw on Instagram and I definitely take note of how involved they are in the community. I have even seen them hold different seminars on healthy eating. THESE PEOPLE GET ME!
Here is a link to Raleigh Raw’s Bio. The you can read about how Raleigh Raw was born and see the two exceptionally amazing owners who are just as nice as they can be.
That’s why besides the amazing and wholesome food, I will continue to support Raleigh Raw and everything they do to contribute to the community.
So if you are:
