Hi, I’m Crystal –
Over the years I’ve realized the importance of preventative health over reactionary lifestyle changes. While both are EQUALLY important, my commitment is to help my clients and future patients work towards a life where they can thrive over simply surviving.
My experience includes:
- Master’s in Applied Nutrition from the University of New England
- NASM Certified Personal Trainer
- Second-degree Nutrition and Dietetics student {I will be a Registered Dietitian in 2024}
- Health and Food-Related Coaching
- Motivational interviewing and SMART goals
I serve as the President of the NCCU Student Nutrition Association. I am also a Social Media Ambassador for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. In 2019-2020, I was selected to be 1 of 10 bloggers for the American Society of Nutrition. I am also a student member of the Academy for Nutrition and Dietetics.
My goal in starting this LLC and creating this business is to eventually move into private practice when I become a registered dietitian. It’s a long and difficult process to start a business and such a learning experience. Why not start with what I can do now? I take the laws and restrictions regarding nutrition practice very seriously. At this time, I am unable to provide medical nutrition therapy, prescribe supplements, and/or prescribe meal plans.
My husband and I met at CrossFit. Fitness and food are both a huge part of our lifestyle. We love to be outside, spend time with our three fur babies.
